Los Churros

CHURROS, this sweet delicacy is so old that today no one knows whether it originated in Mexico or the Spanish highlands. Thanks to this, of course, there are many variants and shapes. It is most widespread in Spanish-speaking countries, but you can often come across churros on the streets of South America, the USA and in Europe, mainly in Spain, Mexico, but also in France and Belgium. So what are churros? This is a typical street food dish, which is made from dough with a simple composition, but which is prepared according to precise technology. The dough is then fed into a machine – a churrera, from which star-shaped sticks are extruded. It is then fried and coated in a sweet mixture. You can choose a tasty sauce for the delicacy prepared this way, either Belgian milk/dark chocolate with a high cocoa content or milk caramel dulce de leche. Everything will be served in a paper cone.
