This conceptual light object called light PU_K was created as a result of a combination of art and sport. His main intention is to capture and visualize the power and dynamics of hockey games through the imprints of scars on plexiglass that has been hit by a puck. Every match that took place left a trace of its unique moment on the Plexiglas. This footprint includes scar prints from speeds, movements, and impacts of the puck during play. These scars on the Plexiglas are after captured and projected onto the wall, which is part of the light object. The projection of the reflection of the scar prints on the wall gives the light object the dimension of a visual image. Earthquake lines, broken curves and intricate patterns create an impressive and abstract spectacle that captures the energy and intensity of hockey matches. By projecting the scar prints onto the wall, the moment of the matches is captured and preserved, although the match itself is long gone. light PU_K also becomes a light symbol of the history of the club or team. This conceptual light object is not only an aesthetic experience, but also a visual representation of the players’ handiwork and their passion for the game. light PU_K is a celebration of hockey as an artistic expression and fluid movement in the air. Representative pucks from different games can be displayed in a gallery, a hockey museum or a specially designed space where fans and visitors can admire unique moment stops and relive the emotional moments of their favorite games. light PU_K is a light object that combines art, sport and memories. It is a reminder of the power and importance of hockey as a sport and through it also the personal stories of players and fans.
