Kristin Ferrell
This collection is about how my friends and I would hang out getting ready for a party or a night out. How sometimes getting ready together was even more fun than the party. I explore the duality of those nights with this collection: the serenity and closeness of the pre-party and the saturated atmosphere of the party. I express this atmosphere though coloraturas and print. While the shapes of the garments are soft and romantic, the textiles are birth and graphic.
