MODERNISTA
Rather than remaining solely a vehicle of repose, the subtile shape of the iconic chair H79 becomes an autonomous carrier of meaning. Memory interweaves with contemporary being, a reminder as well as an axis of the present moment in one aesthetic expression. Through Halabal's unique creation, the object of everyday use becomes a sculpture, a spatial symbol with which the seated figure interacts, creating a complex dialogue of forms.
